It's All About Them

Yes, more t.A.T.u.! Over a month ago, the full new English t.A.T.u. album Dangerous and Moving leaked on to the net, to the joy and dismay of fans. The general feeling is that it is better than their debut 200 km/h in the Wrong Lane, however I am still undecided. Indeed it is a brilliant album, but somehow I was expecting more. The title track, for example, is amazing, but it isn't as epic or memorable as it could be; for me it falls flat. This could partly be down to the fact that their voices sound bad on the chorus (this also applies to the Russian version of the song Люди-инвалиды Lyudi-invalidy (People are Invalids).

My favourite track from the album is the single Russian language track Обезьянка-ноль Obyez'yanka-nol' (Monkey Zero). This song was mentioned in my first entry, but it is only since hearing the studio version have I fallen in love with it. It is a very powerful song, and one where Yulia's voice actually sounds good.

Other stand-out tracks are Friend or Foe, Love Me Not, and, of course, the single All About Us.

dangerous and Moving is released on Monday 10th October, on the same day as the Russian version Люди-инвалиды Lyudi-invalidy. Both albums consist of mostly the same songs, but each also have one or two songs unique to them. For example, All About Us will not appear in Russian, and the Russian song Вся моя любовь Vsya moya lyubov' (All Of My Love) will not appear in English.

The video for the title track of the new Russian album has started rotation on Russian TV, and this same video will be the second English single Dangerous and Moving. The video is about "Moral invalids" engaging in an orgy of sex, drugs and gluttony. Watch out for the video's ending.
